Hello! My name is Savannah Pietsch and welcome to my website! I recently graduated summa cum laude from Cal State Fullerton with a major in Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations, a minor in Political Science, and a Digital Communications Media certificate.
I’m on the lookout for an opportunity that will let me merge my passion for strategic communications and interactive media design to kickstart a career in Public Relations.
My journey through Communications and Political Science coursework at CSUF has not only enriched my research skills but has also honed my media literacy skills.
One of the highlights of my academic journey was the moment I engaged in my own research regarding Netflix’s password crackdown policy. I learned how to implement proper research methods and created a concept explication, a SWOT analysis, a Situational Analysis, and conducted my own research techniques through mass surveying. Through my findings, I could conclude how their audiences perceived the password crackdown policy and how they can shift their communication strategies to maintain their subscriber loyalty and satisfaction.
Looking ahead, my goal is to transition into the complex world of Public Relations, focusing on Crisis Communications. I am currently seeking opportunities, including internships and full-time positions, at Public Relations firms where I can leverage my skills and passion to make a meaningful impact.
